Trudy Mahrenholz

Trudy Ardell Mahrenholz (nee Copeland), of O'Fallon, MO, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2023, at the age of 76. Beloved wife of Earl “Tom” Thomas Mahrenholz; devoted daughter of the late Ruth and Robert Copeland; loving mother of Stacy (Raphael) Price and Scott Mahrenholz; cherished Nana of Emily Eaton, Grant Eaton, Scarlett Price, Harrison Price, Claire Price, and Holly Mahrenholz; dear sister of James Copeland and the late Ronald Ebreck. 

Trudy proudly and honorably served in the United States Air Force. She served as a drill instructor and that instructive demeanor carried on throughout her life. During her time in the service, Trudy met her husband, Tom. Together, they were married on August 1, 1969, and shared over 50 years together. Family was very important to Trudy. She was a very good mother and enjoyed spending time and supporting her grandchildren. 

Trudy was an excellent cook. Tom enjoyed her brown gravy most, Scott loved her sweet and sour chicken, and Stacy’s favorite was her brisket. Trudy had an excellent sense of humor and was adored by all. Her spunky personality was contagious, and she loved to play bingo. 

Trudy was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Memorials may be made in Trudy's name to All Paws Rescue.
