Truman H. Wallace

Truman Wallace was born March 23, 1948, to the late Roosevelt and Helen Wallace. Truman accepted Christ as his own personal Savior at a young age. After graduating from East High School in Eudora, Arkansas, he moved to St. Louis, Missouri where he proudly served in the U.S. Army. Later when Truman was discharged, he was employed by General Motors Corporation Wentzville Assembly Plant and retired after 34 years. During the time of his employment at GM, he joined Shiloh Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend John Carter in St. Louis, MO. Truman later moved to Wentzville, Missouri, then Foley, Missouri, where he resided until God called him home. During his time in Foley, he was united in holy matrimony with Loretta Surrency/Wallace and attended Church on the Rock under the leadership of Pastor David Blunt in St. Peters, Missouri. Truman was a loving and devoted Christian who extended himself in so many directions to assist others. Even though he was a blessing to his family and whomever he could help, it was still neve enough for him. He was a multi-talented person and a Jack of all trades. There have been numerous lived touched by Truman Wallace, with his charming personality and handsome smile. Truman would often have many beautiful discussions with his family member and friends. He was very familiar with the bible and would tell you what the word of God says about different situations. On Thursday night, June 20, 2019 at 7:15pm, Truman spiritually left his world to spend eternity with God out Heavenly Father.

Truman was preceded in death by his parents, stepmother Olevia Wallace, brothers: Charles Mitchell, Fred Wallace Jr. and sister, Betty Hobbs. Truman leave to cherished his memory: wife, Loretta Surrency Wallace and daughter, Trumette Olevia Wallace-Raleigh, North Carolina; sisters: Dr. Velma Wallace Evans (Zachary), Little Elm, Texas; Ama Wallace, Little Rock, Arkansas; Susie Blake (David), St. Louis, Missouri; brother, Charles Edward Wallace (Patricia), Eudora, Arkansas; sisters-in-law: Charlene Wallace, St. Louis, Missouri; Shirley Mitchell, Cabot, Arkansas; Lender Surrency, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; Rebecca Surrency, Miami, Florida; brothers-in-law: Nathaniel Surrency-Miami, Florida; Ellery Surrency-San Jose, California; Eddie Surrency, Jr.-Ft. Lauderdale; Step-Children: David Boone-St. Louis, Missouri; Terry Rogers (Robin) – Jonesboro, Arkansas; Lydell Flake-Sacramento, California; Leighton Kennedy-San Jose, California; Darlene Greer (James) – St. Louis, Missouri; Elijah Shannon-St. Louis, Missouri; Grandchildren, Great-Grandson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
