Valerie Ann Henning

Henning, Valerie Ann, 49 of O'Fallon passed away at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Valerie was born Nov. 25, 1961 to Dale and Sharon (Luckett) Kasa in St. Louis, MO. She was a graduate of Fort Zumwalt. Valerie was united in marriage August 25, 1990 to Doug Henning. Together they had five children, Nicole and husband Greg Shafer; Michael and wife Delana Jacobson; Ryan Henning; Megan Baker (deceased), Jared Henning and four grandchildren, Shelby and Chloe Shafer, Brock Thomas and Mason Jacobson. Brother, Matt Kasa of Elsberry, sister Kerri and husband Darrell Birkhead of Winfield, sister Lachelle and husband Larry Ray of Rising Sun, Ohio, several nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother, Sharon and her daughter, Megan. Valerie worked at St. Charles Orthopedic Surgery as a medical secretary for Emil Difilippo, M.D. for 17 years. She was passionate about her work, patients and staff. She enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends. She enjoyed home decorating, camping, motorcycle rides and tattoo art.
