Venice L. Bardwell

Venice L. Bardwell, of St. Peters, Missouri, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2023 at the age of 89. Loving husband of the late Rita R. Bardwell; beloved son of the late Roy Venice and Lucille Bardwell; devoted father of William (Pam) Bardwell, Bridgett (Rodger) Whitener, Annette (Gary) Glandon, and Roy (Tammy) Bardwell; cherished grandfather of William (Denise) Whitener, Joe (Sarah) Whitener, Kevin (Marla) Warren, Amanda (Jeremy) Huggins, and Matthew Bardwell; treasured great-grandfather of six. Venice is also preceded in death by his sister, Coy Stewart.

Venice proudly served his country in the United States Army. He worked as a field and service mechanic with McDonnell Douglas, retiring after 40+ years. Through McDonnell Douglas Venice was a member of the Archery Club. He was also an active and involved member of Knights of Columbus. Venice loved spending time outdoors. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and enjoyed gardening vegetables. He would spend the winter months enjoying himself fishing in Texas. Venice was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Venice's name to Knight of Columbus in St. Peters.
