Vera Darbinyan

Vera Darbinyan (nee Guseva), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Monday, April 14, 2025, at the age of 72. Beloved wife of Robert Darbinyan; cherished daughter of the late Nikolay Gusev and the late Anastasiya Guseva; devoted mother of Hasmik (Armen Hakobyan) Darbinyan, Vardan (Hasmik Varosyan) Darbinyan, Anna (Armen Muradyan) Darbinyan; loving grandmother of Anush Hakobyan, Erik Hakobyan, Mikayel Darbinyan, Hayk Darbinyan, Lucy Darbinyan, Meline Muradyan, and Sargis Muradyan; dear sister of Lyuba.

Vera was married to the love of her life, Robert, for 54 years. Together, they cherished traveling, fishing, and spending time with their grandchildren. She was a beautiful, caring woman who loved nature—especially trees, flowers, and the forest—and found joy in cooking, baking, and caring for her family. Vera was devoted, strong, and brave, always organized and prepared. She loved swimming in the sea, lived with deep faith, and carried a bright, energetic spirit wherever she went. Her sense of humor and uplifting presence touched everyone around her. A hard worker and a true fighter, one of her proudest accomplishments was becoming a U.S. citizen in 2024. Vera was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
