Vera Jean Parsons

 Vera Jean Parsons, of St. Peters, Missouri passed away on December 2, 2017 at the age of 79. Vera was born on December 26, 1937 to the late Carthel Andersen Hood and Ruth Edith Ellen Mullersman. Devoted mother of Diana (James) Schroeder, Andrea (Ron) Panner, Steve (Christine) Blahut, Ellen (Chuck) Yates, and John Blahut; treasured grandmother of Christina (John), David (Erica), Angie (Zach), Kimberly (Greg), and Tyler; loving great-grandmother of Caitlyn, Jacob, Andrew, Vacey, JC, and Madison; and dear sister of Shirley Morice, Suzanne Glover, Patricia Hood, and Kathleen Redington.

Vera dedicated 25 years of her career as an Operator at Western Union where she later retired in 2000. She enjoyed crocheting, arts and crafts, and studying her bible. Most of all, Vera treasured every moment she spent with her family. She is dearly loved and will be missed immensely by all who knew her.
