Vera Mae Thro

Vera Mae Thro (nee: Boschert), 82, was the loving wife of the late Anthony Thro; beloved daughter of the late Herbert and Emma Boschert; devoted mother of Michael (Beverly) Thro, Diane (Ben) Walter, Nancy Cox, Susan DeJarnett, and Kathleen (Vernon) Meyer; doting grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 1great-granddaughter; dear sister of Herbert (Delores) Boschert; and beloved sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, Godmother, and friend. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Carol Jean Thro; sister, Norma King; and brothers, Kermit and Lloyd Boschert. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church of St. Charles where she worked as a Secretary for 35 years. Over the years, she was also active in Knights of Columbus and The Ladies Sodality. Vera was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association, St. Peter Catholic Church Student Assist Program, Masses, or Donor's Choice.
