Verda Elizabeth McKnight

McKnight, Verda Elizabeth of Saint Charles, MO, died on Wednesday, January 21, 2015, at the age of 87. Loving wife of the late William E. McKnight; beloved daughter of the late Doris L. and Nora M. Lewis (nee: Duncan); devoted mother Linda (Hugh) Jesse and Debbie (Mark) Ladd; cherished grandmother of Michelle (Travis) Tolzien, Jessica Ladd and Garrett Ladd; treasured great-grandmother of Kayla (Seamus) Camden and Derek Crowe, and great-great-grandmother of Payton Camden; dear sister of Virgil Lewis. She is preceded in death by her sister Verna Street, and brothers Verl Lewis, Vern "Bob" Lewis, Vester "Speck" Lewis and Jimmie Lewis.
Verda was a cook for the Washington and Brentwood School Districts. She was a member of St. John U.C.C., the American Legion Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary and enjoyed being a member of the 4x4 Explorers Jeep Club. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
