Vernon C. Nystrom

Memorials may be given to SSM Hospice at any of the Baue Funeral Home locations. Vernon C. Nystrom, age 74, St. Charles, Missouri June 29, 2003. He is survived by his wife, Donna M.,two, Mark V. (Cindi), John V. (Robin) and five grandchildren, Stieg, Lauren, Kendra Nicole and Brian; two sisters, Lorraine Gude (Charles) and his twin sister, Verna Mae Day). Preceded in death by parents, Henning and Tillie Nystrom, and one son, Scott V. Mr. Nystrom was owner of the Verlo Mattress factories in Missouri and Illinois. He was an avid fisherman and was Past-Chairman of Police & Fire Department Boards for 16 years in Wheeling Illinois; volunteer firefighter in Wheeling for 34 years, and was Past-President of Wheeling Firefighters Association for 16 years.
