Vernon Dee Griffey

April 30, 1927 — August 17, 2018

Vernon Dee Griffey, of Florissant, MO, passed away Friday, August 17, 2018, at the age of 91. Loving husband of 68 years to Audrey Ann Griffey; beloved son of the late August and Mary Griffey; devoted father of the late Gail (Gerald) Allen, Susan (Douglas) Mowczko, Steven (Kathleen) Griffey, and Chris (Deanna) Griffey; cherished grandfather of ten; treasured great-grandfather of five; and dear brother-in-law of Joan Gaylord. He is survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Vernon is also preceded in death by his brother, Harold Griffey.

Vernon was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
