Vernon L. Wein

Wein, Vernon L., of St. Charles, MO, died on Monday, May 25, 2015, at the age of 79. Loving husband of Sharon Wein; beloved son of the late Rev. Edgar and Emily Wein; devoted father of the late Kenneth D. Wein, and brother of the late Wilma Schmidt. He is survived by granddaughter Heather Wein and her mother Linda Fetsch; brother Edgar T. Wein and sister Amy Feeler. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Vernon worked at Sverdrup Corporation for 33 years. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and American Society of Civil Engineers. Vernon was a graduate of the University of Missouri at Columbia, and proudly served in the US Army. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinal's fan and enjoyed football.
