Vernon Peter Schmidt

Schmidt, Vernon Peter, of O’Fallon, MO, died on Friday, October 9, 2015, at the age of 88. Loving husband of Albina Schmidt; beloved son of the late Henry and Elsa Schmidt, Sr.; devoted father of Verna (the late Charles) Wilson, Paula (Ken) Ryno, Jim (Laure) Schmidt, John Schmidt, Don (Laurie) Schmidt, and Marsha (Scott) Hoffmann; cherished grandfather of 15; treasured great-grandfather of 8; and also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. He is preceded in death by his brothers Milton Schmidt and Henry Schmidt, Jr.
