Vicky Sue Gard

Vicky Sue Gard (nee Vaughn), of Perry, OK, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2025, at the age of 75. Beloved wife of Michael Gard; cherished daughter of the late Victor Alvin and Charlet Vaughn. Devoted mother of Emily Gard and Amanda (Peter Bowlus) Gard.

Vicky was married to her dear husband for 52 years and spent many years as an English teacher, deeply passionate and knowledgeable about English literature and history. She dedicated her life to educating and inspiring others. After stepping away from teaching to raise her daughters, she devoted herself to her family, cherishing every moment with them. Loved by all who knew her, Vicky’s warmth and dedication left a lasting impact on those around her. Vicky was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
