Victor C. Zimmerman

May 31, 1930 — August 10, 2017

Victor C. Zimmerman, of Lake St. Louis, Missouri, passed away August 10, 2017, at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Patricia Zimmerman; devoted father of John (Mary) and David (Karen) Zimmerman, Virginia (Mark) Forde Smith, Patricia (Paul) Forde Ahr, and the late Michael Forde; dearest brother of Marjorie (Don) Fahrenholz; he is preceded in death by his parents Peter and Pauline Zimmerman, sister Dorothy Consoli and brother Peter Zimmerman; cherished grandfather of Victoria, Patricia, John Jr., Andrew, Nicole, Matthew, Michael, Ryan and Katie; Vic was also beloved by his many nieces and nephews; he will be missed by all who knew him.

Vic proudly served as a First Lieutenant in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He spent 30-years with Monsanto before joining Chemtech to close out his working years. Vic loved playing golf and spending time with family and friends at their Beach House in Florida. He was an avid sports fan who was passionate about the University of Georgia Bulldogs.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Louis Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
