Victor V. Hennessy

Hennessy, of Lake St. Louis, Missouri, Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Thursday, May 7, 2009 at the age of 79. Loving husband of Beverly J. Hennessy; dear son of the late Vernon Victor and Aloyse Irene Hennessy; devoted father of Patrick (Sherrie) Hennessy, Terry Hennessy, Bill (Debbie) Hennessy, Vickie (Tom) Rekart, Donna (George) Cunningham, and the late Joseph Thomas Hennessy; cherished grandfather of sixteen and great-grandfather of seventeen; dear brother of Mary Alsop; and dear brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend to all who knew him.. Vic resided in Indianapolis, IN until 1974. He worked for General Cable Corporation for 28 years. Vic was very active in St. Michaels Catholic Church and Cardinal Ritter High School. He enjoyed his work for Eagledale Little League for over a decade. Vic and family moved to Lake Saint Louis, MO in 1974. Vic founded Hennessy Electric Sales in 1983. He became involved at Assumption Catholic Church dedicating his time on the finance committee, parish council and ministry to the homebound. Vic volunteered tirelessly for the Oasis Food Pantry. In February, Vic was diagnosed with cancer and died peacefully surrounded by family.
