Vincent Saputo of O’Fallon, MO, passed away at the age of 90 on Saturday, November 30, 2019. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Norma Saputo; his parents, Anthony and Mary Saputo; and his siblings, Joseph, Salvatore, and Virginia Saputo.
Vincent is survived by his children, Victoria (Ken) Mosley, Larry (Patti) Dobelmann, and John Dobelman, Jr.; his grandchildren, L.J. Dobelmann, Joshua (Leiah) Dobelmann, Sean (JoAnne) Dobelman, Nicholas (Shannon) Dobelman, and Bailey (Emily) Mosley; his great-grandchildren, Madison, Alisa, Kairi, Vincent, Gabriel, and Noah; his siblings, Tony (Ann) Saputo and Rosalie Saputo; and he was a beloved uncle, cousin, and friend.
Vincent was a bowler, a former coach of the girls’ softball team at St. Martin de Porres, and just a great fan of all sports in general – especially the sporting events his grandchildren played which Vincent always loved attending. He retired from the Hazelwood Police Department. Vincent was a member of The I.P.C. Men’s Club as well as a lifelong member of Knights of Columbus Hazelwood Missouri Council 4429. In his free time, Vincent enjoyed going to the casino and travelling with his late wife Norma on cruises or to one of their favorite destinations – Las Vegas. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
