Vincent Watts of Saint Peters, MO, passed away at the age of 85 on Friday, July 30, 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Watts; his parents, James Watts and Ann Quirk; his grandson, Cory Bennett; and his siblings, James Watts, Jerry Watts, and Maryann Watts.
Vincent is survived by his children, Anthony (Cindi) Watts, Rosemarie (Bruce) Wampler, Vincent Watts II, and Theresa (Kenny) Biddlingmeier; and his twin grandsons, Jacob and Jesse Wampler, and granddaughter, Kayla Biddlingmeier.
Vince was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force and served during the Korean War. After a successful, 35 year career, Vince retired as a brewer from Anheuser-Busch. Vince was a prolific entrepreneur and businessman. In his earlier years, he had a hot dog stand by the old Busch Stadium where each of his children worked with him and helped out. He went on to become the owner of Grassi’s Midtown, Grassi’s in the Central West End, and Vince’s Catering for many years. Throughout his life, Vince had an incredible work ethic which he applied to his businesses and side jobs. Vince was generous and contributed much to the New Life Evangelist Center in St. Louis. Above everything, Vince was a devoted father and husband who cherished his family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
