Vinny Ray Smith

Vinny Ray Smith, of O’Fallon Mo, passed away after a long battle of Malignant Rhabdoid cancer Thursday, June 27th, 2019 at the age of one and a half.  Cherished son of John and Danielle Smith; Dear brother of Violet Smith, Valerie Smith, Vivian Smith; Nephew -Best Friend Cameron Iler; Loved Grandson of Kenneth and Deanna Engle, Kathy and Theodore Cappone, Thomas And Kathy Smith (Sr.);  Treasured great-grandson of Patsy Drusch, Jim and Darlene Engle; Nephew of James Engle, Shawn (Andre) Kohrs-Davis, Thomas Smith (Jr.), Daniel (Lisa) Smith, Megan (Nathan) Staab; Vinny is also survived by cousins Emily Smith and Joseph Staab.

Vinny was born in O’Fallon, Missouri, on November 19, 2017.  After 3 little girls, the Smith family finally got their little boy.  From day one, Vinny brought warmth into our lives just like a perfect morning sunrise.  A spitting image of his daddy, just like his mommy always prayed for. He loved his bottle almost as much as he loved his sissys. Vinnys strength was beyond amazing, considering his packaging was so small.  Vinny was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He wasn’t just ours, but everyone’s little Vinny Ray of Sunshine.
