Violet M. Groenemann, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at the age of 92. Loving wife of the late Walter J. Groenemann; dear daughter of John and Maude Connoyer; devoted mother of David W. (Joy) Groenemann, Donald (Melinda) Groenemann, Gary Groenemann, and Diana (Joe) Bernard-Cody; cherished grandmother of Anne (Dan) Schmidt, the late Lynn Groenemann Michel, Lisa (Donnie) Stellmaker, Beth Groenemann, Gregg (Elise) Groenemann, Missy (Ronald) Dutton, Jason (Renee) Groenemann, Garic Groenemann, Jeremy (Meaghan) Groenemann, and Cortney (David) Tatlow; treasured great-grandmother of 16; dear sister-in-law of Agnes Tuepker; and beloved aunt, cousin, and friend to many. She is preceded in death by her brother Robert Connoyer, sister Ruby Thompson, and son-in-law Lenny Bernard.
Violet was a member of St. John's U.C.C. for over 70 years. She loved to dance and play cards, crochet, and go bowling. She was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Arthritis Foundation or the Music Department or Radio Fund for St. John's U.C.C.
