Violet Vi Foster

Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church Memorial Fund or the American Cancer Society. Violet was the beloved daughter of the late Theodore and Emma Freise; loving wife of the late Carl E. Foster; devoted mother of Pamela (Richard) Hovland and the late Sylvia Joy Barklage Kellerman; cherished grandmother of Donald (Pam) Barklage, Rick (Joann) Barklage, Karen (Tom) Hess, Katherine (Steve) Iooss, Lisa (Tim) Diller and Eric (Emily) Hovland; dear great-grandmother of 14 and great-great grandmother of 4. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters and 1 brother and is survived by many nieces and nephews. Violet managed the Children’s Bazaar and Small Fry Fashions for over 30 years and was well respected in the community. She was also known for her beautiful smile. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of St. Charles.
