Virann Kay Bertram

Virann K. Bertram (nee Flucht), of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at the age of 74. Beloved wife of the late Douglas Buswell by first marriage, Donald Flinn by second marriage, and Gerald Bertram by third marriage; cherished daughter of the late Virgil and Anna Flucht; devoted mother of Timothy Q. Buswell, Kimberly A. (Jeremiah) Piechoinski, and Douglas MacArthur (Jennifer ) Buswell , Jr.; dear sister of Darlene Phillips and the late Janet Morrissey and George Flucht; cherished grandmother of Shelby (Mark) Monzyk, Haley (Andrew) Walker, Nicholas (Shelbi ) Wikoff, Nichole Wikoff, Brody Piechoinski, Madison Buswell, Noah Buswell, and the late Christopher Wikoff; treasured great-grandmother of Peyton Wikoff, Reighan Wikoff, Skylar Wikoff, Aryanna Pitts, Tyson Pitts, Kevin Williams, and Liam Walker.

Virann had and eye for art and greatly enjoyed painting. She was very artistic and creative and enjoyed crafting as well. She was also very devout and was a woman of strong faith. Virann’s greatest joy, however, was her beloved family. She cherished her time spent with her children and grandchildren, and her unconditional love and kindness was an inspiration to her family. Virann was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorial contributions may be made in Virann's honor to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
