Ginny Bonnell

Virginia “Ginny” Bonnell (nee Birmingham), of O'Fallon, MO, passed away Monday, July 29, 2024, at the age of 86. Loving wife of James Bonnell; beloved daughter of the late Elmer and Bernadine Birmingham; devoted mother of Kelly (Bernard) Roth and Brian Bonnell; cherished grandmother of Abbey Roth, and Chelsea (Bryce) Beery; treasured great-grandmother of Zoey Roth, Zachary Rose, Brogan Beery, Belinda Beery, and Benton Beery; dear sister of Doris Fees and Karen T. (Frank) Owens. Ginny is also preceded in death by her sisters, Eileen Loeffler, Madelyn Seitz, Muriel Williams, and Ethel Henke.

Ginny was a cherished member of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in O'Fallon. Primarily a homemaker, she also spent several years working at Witte Hardware. Ginny enjoyed shopping, visiting the casino, and taking long car rides. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Ginny's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
