BOSCHERT, VIRGINIA C. (Boehmer), of St. Charles, MO, was born on September 18, 1918, fortified with the sacraments of Holy Mother Church, passed into eternal life at home on February 12, 2012 at the age of 94. Dear wife of the late Leo E. 'Bud' Boschert and devoted daughter of the late Alois and Margaret Boehmer. Loving mother of the late Judith Ostendorf, Norma (Howard) Pardieck, Robert L. Boschert, the late Herbert Boschert, and Darrell (Cindi) Boschert. A cherished grandmother of Gina, Keri Vicky, Jessica, Jason, Rhys, Josh, Roberta and Julie. Great-grandmother of 13 and others who loved her as their great-grandmother. Virginia was preceded in death by a sister Mary Magdaline Raterman and a brother Theodore Boehmer. She is survived by a sister, Kathleen Bornhop, sister-in-laws Mary Beelek, Maxine Boschert, Helga Boehmer, and brother-in-law Bernard Boschert. Virginia and her husband Bud raised quarter horses and operated a John Deere Implement business for 40 years. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Church, the Borromeo Ladies Sodality, Friends of St Charles Birthright, Daughters of Isabella, Red Hat Ladies and a benefactor of many charitable organizations in her community. Her favorite pastime was playing cards; favorite meal, cherry pie; favorite movie, "Grumpy Old Men"; favorite author, Jan Karon; favorite invention, electricity; favorite visitors, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; favorite response, "love you more." Visitation is at Baue Funeral Home, 620 Jefferson Street in St. Charles on Friday February 15, from 3:00-7:00 PM. The family invites you to commemorate and celebrate Virginia's life at a funeral Mass, 10 AM on Saturday February 16, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Internment will take place at the St. Charles Borromeo cemetery, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband and parents. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Duchesne High School, St. Charles Borromeo Church, Birthright of St. Charles, or Youth In Need.
