Dierker, E. Virginia (nee: Simpson), of St. Charles, MO, died on Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at the age of 93. Loving wife of the late Raymond L. Dierker; beloved daughter of the late James and Lillie Simpson; devoted mother of Barbara (Deacon Donald) Wussler, Ray (Shirlee) Dierker, and Nancy (the late Tom) Schleich; cherished grandmother of Marilyn (Michael) Humphrey, Susan (Paul Washington) Jokerst, Christopher (Rachel Dairaghi) Wussler, and Michelle Dierker; treasured great-grandmother of Katy Jokerst, Jacob, Luke, and Cole Wussler; dear sister of Wally (Theresa) Simpson, Helen (the late Floyd) DePew, and Grace Norvell; beloved aunt, cousin, and dear friend to many. She is preceded in death by her siblings Jimmy Simpson, Ernie Simpson, Jerry Simpson, Pete Simpson, Tonsie Mesplay, Dorothy Lyle, and Wanda Mae Simpson.
Virginia was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in St. Charles MO. For 25 years Virginia and her husband, Ray owned and operated Dierker's Bakery in the Clifton Heights neighborhood. In her later years Virginia retired after 15 years of service with Deaconess Health Systems.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mount Carmel Senior Living, American Diabetes Association, or Heartland Hospice.
