Virginia (Jeannie) Hisaw nee Vitale, passed away on March 14, 2024, at home at the age of 74 surrounded by loved ones. She was the beloved and treasured wife of Harold L. Hisaw Jr. of O’ Fallon, MO; She is survived by her three daughters, Kelly (Daniel) of O’ Fallon, MO, Kimberly (Michael) of O’Fallon, MO, and Kari (Josh) of St. Peters, MO; one sister Diane (Pete) Ranciglio and one brother Nick (Clare) Vitale of St. Louis; grandchildren, Samantha (Michael) Gorham, Anthony (Alexandra) Baker, Kaylee Edwards, Mackenzie Edwards, and Katie (Jay) Campise; great-grandchildren, Lexis, Colton, Owen, Theodore, and Charlotte; beloved aunt, great-aunt, cousin, and friend to many. She is preceded in death by her dear sister, Rosalie Suftko nee Vitale and brother-in-law, Donald Suftko, father, John Vitale, mother, Ann Vitale nee Lanasa, and brother, John Vitale. Virginia (Jeannie) married Harold on August 16th, 1969, and they were happily married for 54 years. Virginia accomplished much during her life, but most important to her, she excelled at motherhood and was the foundation of her family. She had a way of making everyone feel special and never missed an important date. She was an excellent cook (especially on Sundays), volunteer, Girl Scout Leader, softball coach, active participant in her church and daughters’ parish school, bowling leagues, and hard-working employee. Virginia’s (Jeannie’s) kind and generous spirit will be missed the most but will live on through all those she touched and helped over the years.
