Jenny is survived by her beloved canines, Akira, Zoey, Buddy, and Lola.
Jenny dedicated more than 31 years to the healthcare industry, most recently 12 years as an RN at Mark Twain Manor, and previously as an LPN, EMT, and CNA. She was very passionate about the care of her patients and made everyone feel like family. She was also involved with the Alzheimer’s Association, and volunteered much of her time to the cause.
Jenny was strong-willed, adventurous, and competitive by nature. She enjoyed bowling with her sisters and friends, even though she didn’t participate often her scores topped the board. She liked creating quilts with her sister Shirley who kept her entertained while they were stitching. She was a lover of all of God’s creatures, especially her canine companions, and she was involved with Husky Rescues.
Jenny liked to collect dolphin figurines, and created a special dining room to display her love of the aquatic mammal. She loved cooking and shopping, which were both her specialties. She was an avid St. Louis Blues fan, and could be found at the games cheering on the players, or pounding on the glass at their opponents, either way she always had a good time! She also enjoyed watching and going to the NHRA, NASCAR, and Indy races.
More than anything, Jenny cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandkids who she adored, and they voted her best Nana in the universe! She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Memorials may be made to
