Virginia L. Van Sciever

Virginia L. Van Sciever, (nee Halstenberg) of Florissant, MO, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at the age of 80. Loving wife of Craig Van Sciever; beloved daughter of the late Virgil and Marie Halstenberg; devoted mother of Scott Van Scieven and wife Lisa, and Dan Van Sciever and wife Kelly; cherished grandmother of Nicholas Van Sciever, Max Van Sciever, Logan Van Sciever, and Daniel Laird Van Sciever.

Ginny studied art at Washington University and loved attending Michigan State as a Kappa Delta where she met her dear husband, Craig. Ginny was a premiere St. Louis model and always loved fashion. Searching for treasure at garage sales and then making a profit at her antique booth was one of her favorite activities. Ginny was an avid St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Rams fan, but she loved watching her sons and grandsons compete in their favorite sports most of all. Family holidays and traditions were her greatest joy and she loved a great party.
