Virginia Sneed/Eilers (nee: Schaffrin), Saint Charles-Virginia H. 91 of Saint Charles, Missouri, passed away at 7:15 am Sunday December 31, 2017 at her home. She was born on September 11, 1926 in Saint Charles, Missouri to Carl A. and Elizabeth Schaffrin. She attended Saint Charles High School.
Beloved wife of Charles M. Eilers; devoted mother of Billie Bayer, Phylis (Drew) Bailey, Gary (Janet) Bayer, and Dale (Andrea) Bayer; 17 stepchildren including Denise Sneed and Robert Sneed; dear sister of Patricia (Glenn) Schmidt, Eileen (Roy) Noah, Nancy Cowell, and Daniel (Zeny) Schaffrin. Beloved Aunt of many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Virginia is preceded in death by 2 husbands, Phillip F. Bayer and Robert A. Sneed, her brothers John and Carl E. Schaffrin and her sister Bernice McKinney.
Virgina was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to Anderson Hospital – Maryville, Illinois or donations for a Memorial Stone in Virginia's memory to be placed at Blanchette Park, checks may be made payable to Phylis Bailey.
