Vito was a parishioner of Assumption Catholic Church in O'Fallon, Missouri. He was a Teamster and a member of the American Legion. Vito served in the Army National Guard for ten years. He loved his country.
Vito loved and adored his wife of 57 years. He loved his children and grandchildren. Family was everything to him. He was a hard working husband and father. He was full of wisdom and genuine in his Faith. He loved thrift stores and always looked for special, beautiful treasures to bring home to his wife. He would always bring her flowers, and showed love and respect for her always. Vito loved metal detecting and fishing with his children. He loved baking bread, making homemade wine, and looked forward to pasta on Sundays. He enjoyed gardening and growing 'Cucuzzi' (Italian Edible), and sharing it with others. He loved to listen to and sing Italian songs. He had a love for animals, especially dogs. He had a special closeness and love for St. Francis of Assisi and great love for the Blessed Virgin Mary. Vito was always there for his family, friends, and anyone who needed help. Now that he is with his wife, Jennie, in Heaven, it seems complete.
