Vivian R. Cragen

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Charles Christian Church or SSM Hospice St. Charles. Vivian R. Cragen 79 of St. Charles died 17 of January 2003 at home. She was born January 26, 1923 to Guy and Margaret Millon in Center, Missouri. She attended grade school and high school in Center, Missouri and attended Kirksville State Teachers College for one year. The balance of her life was spent in the St. Louis area as a homemaker. She was a member of the St. Charles Christian Church and was an active member of the church’s CWF group. She was married to Corporal James (J.E.) Cragen on 16 July 1945 in Center, Missouri. He survives as do one daughter Sharon (Gary) Strachan of Harviell, Missouri; two sons, Robert (Sherry) Cragen of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; and David (Gina) Cragen of High Ridge, Missouri. Other survivors are five granddaughters: Cindy (Tim) Mansfield, Kelly, Andrea, Taylor and Troy Cragen and one grandson, Wayne Strachan, plus 3 great granddaughters: Kelsey, Katie and Kolbie Mansfield.
