Wallace "Neil" Meeks

Wallace “Neil” Meeks passed away peacefully on June 25, 2023. Neil graduated in the ROTC program from Western Kentucky University in 1958. He entered the U.S. Air Force as a commissioned Second Lieutenant, whose first phase of pilot training was in Missouri and second phase in Texas. 

After serving twenty years in the Air Force, including two tours of duty in the Vietnam War, Neil retired as a Lt. Colonel. He then joined the Boeing Company in St. Louis as a staff engineer where he worked for an additional twenty years.  

Neil is survived by his wife, Barbara and two daughters, Denise and Cynthia. He has four beautiful and loving grandchildren: Brett, Jessica, Eleni and Ava and also three great-grandchildren: Hank, Ada and Harlow.
