Walter and Kay Chapman

Memorials may be made to Pike County Christian School or a charity of the donor's choice. Chapman, Walter W., 73, and Kay, 71, of Bowling Green, Missouri, died on Saturday, October 25, 2008. The Chapman's were married for 53 years. Walter was the son of the late Marvin H. and Ella Chapman; Kay was the daugher of the late Thomas A. and Elizabeth L. Winterbottom. Dear parents of Michael (Robin) A. Chapman, and Matthew (Stacey) A. Chapman; dear grandparents of Ashley (Michael) D. McLaren, Krista L. Chapman and Jacob A. Chapman; Walter was the brother of Marvin H. Chapman, Jr. and the late Ronald M. Chapman; Kay was the sister of Marilyn (Loren R.) W. Ruthledge and John T. Winterbottom. They were a loving aunt and uncle to many nieces, nephews, and cousins, and friends to many. Walter retired after 40 years as a self-employed Tool & Die Maker. He worked at Dierbergs and was also a past board member and Fire Chief for the St. Charles Fire Protection District. He and Kay were both members of New Hartford Baptist Church. Kay was a retired biller at SSM Healthcare. She volunteered a lot of her time at New Hartford Baptist Church and at Pike County Christian School.
