Walter E. Klemme

Walter E. Klemme, age 74, of O’Fallon, MO passed away peacefully on February 18, 2018 after his courageous battle with Alzheimer’s.
He was born in Golden Eagle, IL on October 26, 1943 to the late Ernest and Anna (Siesennop) Klemme. He graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Brussels, IL in 1961. He joined the Army in 1963, where he served as a pharmacist while stationed in Germany.
He is survived by his beloved Joyce Krutzman of O’Fallon, MO, sister Judith Klemme of Brussels, IL: three children: Todd Klemme (Jessica), Laura Merris (Craig), Anne Kinealy (Joe). He is also survived by nine grandchildren: Keirra, Logan, Bobby, Roman, Maddoc, Kyle, Nicole, Lauren, Tyler. Walter was predeceased by his brother, Ernest “Skip” Klemme, and uncle to Eric, Ron and Adam Klemme. He is loved by many friends, cousins and Aunt.
He was a runner, bicyclist, fisherman, mushroom hunter, lover of the outdoors and making people laugh. He will be missed by all.
