Walter Kubus

Memorials may be made to St. Peters Community and Art Center. Walter Kubus, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Thursday, July 16, 2009 at the age of 83. Dear former husband and friend of Virginia Kubus; dear son of the late Stanley and Mary Kubus; devoted father of John J. (Monique) Kubus, Diana M. Haight and Karen E. (Bryan) Hockaday; step-father of David Kubus and Daniel (Sarah) Kubus; dear brother-in-law of William James; beloved grandfather of 8 and great-grandfather of 4. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Joe Kubus and Vincent Kubus and his sister, Genevieve Dolat. Walter was employed as a Laborer at Raskas Dairy for 33 years before his retirement. He was a volunteer at St. Peters Community and Art Center, a member of the PNA, a member of the Knights of Columbus and very much enjoyed oil painting.
