Wanda Lou (DeMott) Hollis, 97, went home peacefully to the Lord on September 23, 2021.
Wanda was born on August 6, 1924 in Eldon, Missouri to the late Armon Roscoe and Lilly Esther (White) DeMott.
She loved life. Cherished family and praised Jesus!
Wanda lived a servants life with a spirit of light and vibrance. Wanda’s 4 sisters and 2 brothers loved her dearly. She was a dedicated and devoted wife to Leonard. A loving mother to Patsy. A warm and caring Grandmother to Kieth & Christie and Kirk & Laura. Adoring Great Grandmother to Keaven, Kolten, Karson, Lily, and Cacy. Great Great Grandmother to Marigrace. And affectionately nicknamed “Aunt-grandma” by her nieces and nephews.
Survivors include daughter Patsy (Hollis) Gerling. Sisters Lilly Popp and Gladys Callahan. 2 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandchild.
Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Hollis. Siblings Phyllis DeMott, Bertha Napier, Dewey DeMott, James Oscar Mace Jr. and son in law George Gerling.
