Warren R. Bekebrede of Saint Charles, Missouri, passed away on Saturday June 16, 2018, at the age of 97. Beloved husband of the late Marian C. Bekebrede; cherished son of the late Herman and Erna (nee Sandfort) Bekebrede; devoted father of Sandra (Robert) Stegman, Dan (Valerie) Bekebrede, and Debra (James) Droste; loving grandfather of Rob Stegman, Steve (Yvette) Stegman, Amy (Chris Huesing) Stegman, Nathan (Julie) Droste, Jeff (Beth) Droste, Laura Droste, Jason (Leigh) Bekebrede, Matt (Stephana) Bekebrede, Keri (Derek) Fultz, and Jessica (Stephen) Moyers, great-grandfather of TJ Stegman, Haley Stegman, Ashton Stegman, Blake Shambro, Olivia Stegman, Emerson Huesing, Campbell Bekebrede, Ethan Bekebrede, Mariah Ruiz, Evan Wilson, Carleigh Wilson, Brody Bekebrede, Quentin Bekebrede, Madysen Fultz, Regan Fultz, Josie Fultz, Amylia Moyers, Ella Moyers, Olivia Moyers, Madeline Droste, Bradley Droste, Annalise Droste, Lucas Droste, Cody Droste, and Grace Droste; dear brother of Kurt (Cleo) Bekebrede and Loraine Orf. Warren is preceded in death by his siblings Lucille Bekebrede, Johann Bekebrede, Elmer Bekebrede, Ruth Nau, Henry Bekebrede, and Mary Jo Ferber.
Warren will be remembered as a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend to many. He proudly served his country with honor in the United States Air Force during WWII and was a member of the VFW Post 2866. He was a longtime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and Carpenters Union Local 1987. Warren enjoyed fishing and traveling and will be remembered for his kind-hearted nature and dedication to his family. Warren was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
