Wauneta King

Wauneta Elizabeth King, of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Friday, January 15, 2021 at the age of 96. Beloved wife of the late Howard L. King; cherished daughter of the late Edgar and Sarah Halley; devoted mother of Janette (Terry) Varner and the late Gary (Judy) King; loving grandmother of Tyler (Sheila) King, Kari (Hal) Forgie, Amy Varner, and the late Peyton Dryden; treasured great-grandmother of Gabriel, Aidan and Emily King, Miles Dryden, and Claire and Isabel  Forgie; Wauneta is also survived by many extended family and friends.

Wauneta enjoyed going out to lunch with the ladies, she would even take her grandchildren along as a treat. She also would take her grandchildren to the movies and other shows. Wauneta enjoyed decorating her home and keeping it up, she always took pride in her home. Wauneta was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Wauneta's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or American Cancer Society.
