Wayne A. Leahy

Leahy, Wayne A., of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at the age of 67. Loving husband of Mary Patricia Leahy; beloved son of the late Eugene and Arlene Leahy; devoted father of Michael (Karlye Rowles) Leahy and Keith (Stacey) Leahy; cherished grandfather of Catherine, Nicholas, Lucy, Charlie, and Beckett; and dear brother of Timothy (Lois) Leahy. Wayne is also survived by his son-in-law, Scott Nelson, his wife Stephanie, and their two children, Alek and Bella. He is also survived by many other relatives and numerous dear friends. He is preceded in death by his daughter Jennifer (Leahy) Nelson and his infant brother John Leahy. He was a very active member of St. Cletus Catholic Church; he was involved in the RCIA classes and the Catholic Employment Service. Wayne was a very generous man who enjoyed faith, family, friends, and will be remembered for his quick wit and fun-loving nature.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association, American Cancer Society, or Academy of the Sacred Heart.
