Wayne F. Geurkink

GEURKINK, Wayne F., O'Fallon, MO, August 24, 2006 age 64; loving husband of Sharon L. Geurkink (nee: Spande); devoted father of Shawn (Patty) Geurkink and Jill (Rodney) Reiman; dear brother of Wesley (Sandra) Geurkink, Elaine (Jack) Wielenga, Donna (Tom) Eggebeen and Daniel (Jean) Geurkink; cherished grandfather of Hannah and Claire Geurkink, Caleb and Alyssa Reiman; dear brother-in-law of MeiLan (Jeff) Haehn. Wayne was also loved by many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Abe and Ruth Geurkink. Wayne was a volunteer at the St. Charles County American Red Cross and the Phoenix, Arizona American Red Cross. He was a member of Living Lord Lutheran Church, Lake St. Louis, Missouri, and Shepherd of the Desert, Sun City, Arizona. He was actively involved in various councils and activities of the churches he attended. He retired from Colgate Palmolive where he was employed as a sales manager in St. Louis for 32 years. Services: The family is being served by the Baue Funeral and Memorial Center 3950 West Clay, St. Charles, MO where visitation will be held Sunday, August 27, 2006 5:00-8:00PM. A Celebration of his life will be held 11:00AM Monday at Living Lord Lutheran Church, Lake Saint Louis, Missouri 63367 with a luncheon to follow. A private graveside service will be held prior to the church service.
