Weldon F. Stephens

Stephens, Weldon F., of St. Charles, MO, died on Thursday, December 17, 2015, at the age of 90. Loving husband of 68 years to Patricia Stephens (nee: Suntrup); beloved son of the late William and Hilaria Stephens; devoted father of Joseph (Tricia) Stephens, Robert (Becky) Stephens, Thomas (Pamela) Stephens, Nancy Stephens, John (Erin) Stephens, Kathleen (Joseph) Rubin, and Karen (Douglas) Clark; cherished grandfather of 24; treasured great-grandfather of 15; dear brother of June (Al) Mueller-Busck; brother-in-law to Rosemary (the late Bill) Wilkinson, the late Dorothy and Emmett Raftery, the late Anita Suntrup, and Elizabeth (the late Don) Spilker. He is preceded in death by his son Michael (Charlotte) Stephens, and his sister Eileen (Rich) Berger.

Weldon proudly served his country in the United States Marines during WWII. He was a member of Union Local 38, and a member of St. Robert Bellarmine for over 18 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, which included hunting, golfing, and some travel. He was very handy around the home and enjoyed things such as making wine, ice cream, gardening, building, and working to be self-sufficient. Most of all he enjoyed being with his family celebrating the holidays and special occasions.
