''Wil'', St. Peters, MO, November 8, 2006 age 75; loving husband for 54 years to Elizabeth ''Betty'' Burkemper; dear father of Dwain (Linda) Burkemper, Barbara (Robert) Hummert, Beverly (Robert) Keller, Daniel (Lisa) Burkemper, Ronald (Diane) Burkemper, John (Cindy) Burkemper, Russell (Brenda) Burkemper, dear brother of David Burkemper and Bernadette Harke; beloved grandfather of 21 and great-grandfather of 7; preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Barbara (nee: Henningfeld) Burkemper and brothers, William, Alfred, Charles & Lawrence. Mr. Burkemper was a member of All Saints Parish, St. Peters, MO, O'Fallon Knights and the St. Vincent DePaul Society at All Saints Catholic Church. His had been a General Foreman with McDonnell Douglas for 35 years before his retirement and his work included the early Space Programs of Mercury and Gemini.
