Willadean “Billie” Ecton

Ecton, Willadean “Billie” (nee: Murphy) of St. Charles, Missouri, died peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones on Thursday, September 10, 2015, at the age of 82. Beloved wife of Gene Ecton; cherished daughter of the late CP and May Murphy; devoted mother of Darrell (Patty) Ecton, Pam (Bob) Sullivan, Robert (Sonja) Ecton, Perry Ecton, and Bryan (LeAnne) Ecton; loving grandmother of Jennifer, Jason, Robin, Jessica, Christopher, Dan, Tim, and Nick; cherished great-grandmother of Amber, Eli, Lauren, Ethan, Lucas, Sebastien, Julien, Iris, Riley, Aaron, and Coen; dear sister of Gwen Huffines. Billie is also preceded in death by her siblings, Delores Stout, Genelda “Janie” Kyhl, and Jim Murphy. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Billie loved camping, gardening, baking, and nature. She most of all loved taking care of and spending time with her family. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
