Willard “Willie” E. Johnston

Johnston, Willard "Willie", of O'Fallon, Missouri, died on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at the age of 75. Loving husband of Judith A. Johnston (NEE: Wymer); beloved son of the late Albert and Ida Johnston; devoted father of Jeffrey (Amy) Johnston, James (Lisa) Johnston, John (Tracy) Johnston, and Jerritt (Molly) Johnston; dear step-father of Gary Spurgeon; cherished brother-in-law of Lois Johnston; valued grandfather of fifteen; honored great-grandfather of nine; kind-hearted son-in-law of Lillie Stout. He is preceded in death by Jackie Johnston, first wife; Gerald Johnston, brother; and Richard Wymer, brother-in-law. He was a former Board Member of Allied Auto Racing Association. Willie was a sheet metal worker for Local #36. For 30 years, he worked for Rockhill Mechanical. Willie was a race car enthusiast, driving race cars for about 30 years. He loved landscaping his yard.
