William Anthony “Bill” Chiste

William Anthony "Bill" Chiste, Sr., of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at the age of 71. Loving husband of 34 years of Nancy Davis; dear son of Peter Lucci Chiste and the late Helen Mae Hammann; devoted father of Heather (Michael) Chiste-Smith, William A. (Christine) Chiste, Jr., and the late Patty Jean Chiste; cherished grandfather of Joseph L. M. Chiste, Nicholas A. P. Chiste, Michael Anthony Smith, Aiden William Smith, and Madeline Marie Smith; dear brother of Bruce (Holly) Hammann and Sue "Kim" Hammann. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. Bill was employed at McDonnell Douglas for many years before he retired. He was a member of the N.R.A. and was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was also a former member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church of Collinsville, IL.
