William Bill A. Emge

February 28, 1925 — June 11, 2004

EMGE, William A. 'Bill', age 79, passed away on June 11, 2004. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Helen Luetkenhaus Emge, children Donald Emge (Barbara) of Springfield, MO., Gary Emge (Kathy) of Town and Country, MO., Sharon Pisarek (Ken) of Lake Sherwood, MO., William Allen Emge (Lula) of Silex, MO., and Terry Emge (Nona) of Arlington, Texas. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren, and by brothers and sisters Jim Emge (Jackie) of St. Paul, Lucille Sommers of Josephville, Sr. Delores Emge C.P.P.S. of O’Fallon, Dennis Emge (Alice) of St. Paul, Bob Emge (Judy) of Lincoln, CA and Charlotte Schneider (Bill) of Monroe City, MO. Bill Emge of Troy, MO., was a life-long resident of St. Paul. He served in the Seabees in World War II, was a rural field-manager for the Globe Democrat, owned and operated Emge’s AG Market in St. Paul, and worked for Monsanto Chemical. In his retirement, he managed the St. Paul K of C Hall. His body will lay in state at Baue Funeral Home in O’Fallon on Monday June 14, 2004 3:00-8:00PM. The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at St. Paul Catholic Church on Tuesday, June 15, 2004 10:00AM, with burial in the St. Paul Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the SSM Hospice Care or to the Sacred Heart Church Building Fund in Troy.
