Bill’s passion in life was, “family is everything”. Since he lost both parents before he was 13 he valued and loved his family unconditionally. Bill did what ever it took to take care of the family so our mother could stay at home to raise us 4 kids. He retired from McDonnell Douglas after 30 years of service and for a while owned a gas station as well. During his employment with McDonnell Douglas he attained his GED at the age of 35 and achieved a promotion to General Foreman. He also took on side jobs; painting cars, houses, and trimming trees. Bill was a member of the National Guard for 6 years, and a life member of the Knights of Columbus, council #823. Bill loved coaching his sons in baseball, taking them hunting with other family members and friends. He also enjoyed going to the boat, gardening, horseshoes, dart ball, dancing, and a glass of sweet wine every now and than. Bill leaves a legacy of love and affection for family, extended family, friends, and others that have come in contact with him. He will be missed by all who knew him.
