William “Bill” J. Struckmann

Struckmann, William "Bill" J., of St. Peters, Missouri, passed away in the presence of his family Sunday, September 12, 2010 at the age of 77 at his home. Beloved husband of Eunice Struckmann (nee: Hackmann) and dear son of the late Walter F. and Lucy V. Struckmann. Devoted father of Bill (Gwen) Struckmann, Tom (Nancy) Struckmann, Kathy (Al) Brooks, Kim (David) Whitney, and Beth (Dean) Evatt; cherished grandfather of Bill (Stephanie), Dawn (Chris), Chad (Darci), Eric (Kelly), Amanda, Brian, Craig (Stephanie), Mark, Emily, Al III, Kyle, Robby, Joel (Amber), Jeremy, Sarah, Angie and great-grandfather of 9. Beloved brother of Ruth Braun, Mary (Gene) Rothermich, Johanna Primeau, Robert Struckmann, and the late Dorothy Cooper and Walter Struckmann. Mr. Struckmann was the co-owner and operator of Hawthorne IGA for many years. He graduated from St. Charles High School and was active in Palestine Masonic Lodge # 241 for years as well as being active with the American Legion Post #314. He was a member of Friedens U.C.C. and was the past President of the St. Charles Kiwanis Club and enjoyed traveling, boating, fishing, bowling, and especially spending time with his family and friends. Memorials may be made to Friedens UCC and Cemetery Fund.
