William “Bill” Pitti

William “Bill” Pitti of Troy, MO, passed away at the age of 74 on Saturday, January 30, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Anne Pitti.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife and best friend of 48 years, Diane Pitti; his children, Carl (Christy) Pitti, Tina Pitti, Danyel (Aaron) Hall, and Nicole (Bill) Fister; his six grandchildren; his sister, Karen (Ron) Burford; and his niece, Paula (David) Burris.

Bill was known as a handyman who could truly build and fix anything and was always happy to lend a hand with a project. In his younger years, he loved taking Diane out for a great evening bowling together. He was also fond of music (particularly the oldies and classics) and having a fun time dancing. Bill always had a big heart and his love and kindness was a tremendous source of strength for his loved ones to rely on. Above everything, Bill’s greatest pride was to be a husband, father, and grandfather to the family he loved so much. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bill’s name may be made to the American Heart Society.
