William Clarence Hassall

William C. Hassall, of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Friday, April 9, 2021 at the age of 95. Loving husband of 27 years to Dorothy Hassall; beloved son of the late Clarence and Hermania Hassall; devoted father of Susan C. Bardy, William S (Barbara) Hassall, and Jeffrey S. (Kari) Hassall; stepfather of Jeffrey (Amanda) Rigden, Gregory (Brenda) Rigden, Jonathan (Ann) Rigden, Keith Rigden, Karen (Thomas) Montes-de-Oca, and Lawrence (Deborah) Rigden; cherished grandfather of 26 and great-grandfather of 24; and is also survived by in-laws, James, Carol, Linda, and Jamie. William is also preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Ann Hassall; his brother, Raymond Hassall; and his grandson, Andrew Hassall.

William proudly served his country in the United Stated Navy during World War II. He was President and CEO of Morgan Wightman Building Supply Company. William was also a member of Four Seasons, Norwood Hills Country Club, The Vines Florida, Osage National, Eldon Country Club in Lake of the Ozarks, and a member of the Belleville VFW Post.

In his free time William liked to spend it enjoying the outdoors. He liked to play a relaxing game of golf or spend time boating on the lake. William was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
