William F. Reape

William Francis Reape of Wentzville, Missouri, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday November 18, 2017, at the age of 88. Beloved husband for 62 years to Mary Reape; cherished son of the late William and Theresa Reape; devoted father of Michael K. Reape, David (Lauri) Reape, Maureen (Tim) Adler, Colleen (John) Burghoff, William (Kimberly) Reape, and Sean Reape; loving grandfather of Caitlin, David, Daniel (Meghan), Laura, Emily (Michael), Jennifer, Matthew (Cori), Kelly (Chris), Sarah (Corey), John, Rebecca, Jamie, and Christopher; treasured great-grandfather of 7; and dear brother of Carmel Holmes. William is preceded in death by his siblings Michael J. Reape, Martin Reape, Patrick Reape, Mary Jo King, and Winifred Smith.

William served his country proudly in the United States Army.  He was a devout Catholic and longtime parishioner of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church -Dardenne. He was a member of St. Vincent De Paul Society, and of Painters Local 46. In his spare moments, William generously volunteered at the local homeless shelter and helped any one in need that came across his path. He will be remembered for being a humble, kind hearted person with a loving and funny personality.  He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was so dearly loved and will be immensely missed by all who knew him.
